The Alaska Down Syndrome Network is proud to offer scholarships of up to $250 once per year to individuals who qualify and are members of the Alaska Down Syndrome Network. Scholarship funds can be used to help cover needs and life-enriching opportunities, including extracurricular activities, equipment, medical bills or supplies, education and support for parents of children or adults with Down syndrome, and more. This scholarship may be used for summer camps, sports equipment, lessons, music classes, toddler gym classes, medical bills, nutritional supplements, preschool, therapies, educational materials or activities, specialized clothing needs. This scholarship may also be used to help a parent attend a conference on Down Syndrome. It may not be used for general toys or general travel. Unusual requests will be considered by the Board.
