Minutes Reviewed minutes from October 27,2022. Motion to approve by Matt and 2nd
by Adina. Motion passed unanimously.
Financial 2022 financials report by Adian. Overall spent less and budgeted, and got
more from gaming than planned.
Committees – Everyone needs to submit a updated action plan for 2023
Walk Adina is looking at options for different date/time of year to do the walk. Possibly
late June or July. Looking to get more people on the planning committee.
Social – Volunteer Kim and Matt have a goal to advertise events more.

March 18 – Rock Gym
April 29 – Polka Dot dance
May 13 – swimming @West High School
May 20 – Torch run
June – picnic. Date and location not yet set.
Sept – swimming @Chugiak High School
Oct – Rock gym

Nov – Annual Members Meeting
Dec – Christmas Party
Website Tristan updated that Julie use to run website and is willing to train us how to
update and make changes. Lisa will upload minutes from here out.
Hope to have a few board members update the calendar and events.
Social Media Adam updated growth on facebook in 2022 from 2021. Plan to use
facebook to promote more events for other organizations. Will add Kim and Matt to edit
to create events for our social get togethers.
Newsletter Mary (Martty) is working to change from paper to a digital newsletter to
prevent future burnout from newsletter editor. Will be adding a letter to members about
what the board does and a call for help.
Fundraiser Lisa hopes to do a event/movie at Bears tooth as a World Down Syndrome
Day (March 21st) fundraiser.
Work with Adina for prizes for raffle tickets at the walk.
Revive Spa in Wasilla will do another Round UP for DOWN syndrome again in October.
Memberships – Sara will work on passing out info to PT/OT about our group. Create
pamphlets of benefits of being a member. Donna is working to reconnect with OBGYNs.
Making more business cards and brochures. Tristan and Adina will work on a new
member roster in hopes to keep families connected. Donna would like someone to take
the phone in the future, Tristan is willing and Lisa can intermittently take it also.
Education Tristan and Marty able to help pair w/Stone Soup group calendar with ours.
Next Meeting April 20th is the tentative date. Everyone work on updating committees
goals/action plans and budget.
